Initially, when I arrived to check-in for my storage unit (which I had reserved online a week prior to my arrival), I was told that a call had been made to inform me that a unit in the size I needed was unavailable (as the unit I had reserved was booked in the store that day). I had returned the call and left a message, but the manager had not received it; so I drove fours hours expecting to have a unit for my daughter (which was no longer available). I had also received a reservation confirmation via email the day of my travel stating it was time to check in. We were offered the same type of unit at another location, but my college-age daughter did not feel comfortable changing; so after verifying my “day-of-check-in” email confirmation, the manager resolved the issue with providing an upgrade at a fair price.
